The Windows builds aren't code-signed yet, so Windows warns on first launch. How to get past it
On a Mac, double-click the .dmg and drag WaveKat Voice into Applications. On Windows, run the .exe and follow the installer. On Linux, open the .deb in your software installer, or install it from a terminal with apt or dpkg.
Open WaveKat Voice once it's installed. It sits quietly out of the way, ready whenever the phone rings.
A short setup walks you through signing in with your phone provider — pick it from the list and we fill in the rest.
WaveKat Voice for Windows isn't code-signed yet, so the first time you run the installer Windows SmartScreen shows a blue "Windows protected your PC" box. The warning is about a certificate we haven't bought yet, not about the file — here's how to get past it.
Click "More info" in the SmartScreen box.
Click "Run anyway", then follow the installer.
That's it — Windows won't ask again, and updates install quietly from then on.
The download button gives you the 64-bit build, which runs on every Windows 10 and 11 PC — natively on Intel and AMD, and emulated on Windows 11 for ARM. If your PC has a Snapdragon or another ARM chip, "Download for Windows on ARM" under Other Platforms is the native build and will run faster.
An account with a phone provider — Twilio, Telnyx, 2talk, and more. It's the same login you'd use for any internet phone, and if you already make business calls online, your provider almost certainly works.
